Taipei really didn’t waste any time winning me over. I spent most of my time consuming arts, eating loads of food and bubble tea, and taking a lot of photos.
Huashan 1914 Creative Park ( 華山1914文化創意產業園區 ) originally built as a winery, the complex has been transformed into a multipurpose park and creative space for Taipei's youthful art scene, and is home to multiple exhibitions and performances.
Huashan 1914 serves as Taipei's primary creative arts center and a hosting ground for Taiwan's most significant cultural activities including the Simple Life music festival and the design expo. Today Huashan 1914 is not only the heart of Taiwan's creative pulse, but also a bridge to a unique architectural past.
A good place to stroll, shop and sit down for a cup of coffee. There isn’t much that pays tribute to the history of the original building, but some of the shops are interesting.
Easy access via MRT. It is easy to get there and you can take the Orange Line or Blue Line to Zhongxiao Xinsheng, take Exit 1 and continue walking straight until reaching Jinshan Rd intersection. Cross the intersection and enter the park's main entrance on the right. There are some eateries and shops. There are some outdoor engagement activities too.
Large collection of design, arts and craft related shops, as well as an arthouse cinema, a few cafes and a couple of restaurants. Great to grab a drink or coffee or just stroll around.
This Starbucks looks amazing and there were many people lining up. Basically, people come here for photography purposes.
This is a highly recommended place for hipsters and art lovers. As a creative directer of my personal brand, I gained lots of ideas regarding packing and product design. Taiwanese concern about health and environment; as a result, all products are not only artistry but also well-developed. Price is a little bit expensive but theyre so cute.
